Dog Stealers.óLost dogs are often found at the Home for Lost Dogs, Battersea, whither those found straying by the police are sent. Information of the loss of a dog should be given at the nearest police-station, and if, after an advertisement offering reward, overtures be made for the restoration of the animal, a further appointment should be made and the police informed. Even although the dog may not be recovered, is a public duty to endeavour punish this class of offence.
