SMITHFIELD CLUB: offices, 47 Half Moon Street, Piccadilly, founded 1798. The annual exhibition of fat cattle, roots, seeds, agricultural implements, &c,, takes place now at the new Agricultural Hall, Isliugton (near the "Angel"), and is commonly held for four days during the week preceding the great metropolitan market. Annual subscrip; tion, one guinea. No charge for the standing room of live stock exhibited by members, but non-members must pay one guinea. Persons exhibiting seeds, roots, and implenients, &c. (not being members), must also pay one guinea. Members and exhibitors enter free, and are admitted to the private view. The entries for the show. close on the 1st of November. Admission to the public, one shilling.
