Tramways.—The following information respecting the principal tramways has been furnished, on request, by the respective companies
* On Sundays and Bank Holidays the cars start one hour later in the morning, and cease running the same time at night.
+ Children (except infants in arms) must be paid for. The conductor must issue a ticket for the rate of  fare paid, the following being the colours :—Blue tickets, 4d.; red, 3d.; white, 2d. yellow, 1d.
++The Sunday running commences about one hour later in the morning on all the services. The Brixton and St. George’s Church cars do not run on Sundays.
**The penny fares and the transfer tickets are suspended on Sundays and holidays, including the Bank holidays.

TRAMWAYS have been laid down on some of the principal roads leading out of London. Commodious cars run upon them, at intervals of a few minutes, throughout the day. The fares are usually ld. or 2d. for part, and 2d. to 4d. for the whole journey. The following are the principal London termini:-
    Aldgate. - Cars f or Poplar; Bow and Stratford; and, by change at Burdett Road, Victoria Park; Hackney and Clapton, via Cambridge Road. 
    Aldersgate Street, for Islington (Angel). Holloway Road and Highgate Archway; Mare Street, Hackney, via Islington, Essex Road and Dalston Junction; and to Clapton vu Old Street and Hackney Road.
    Blackfriars Bridge (Surrey Side), for Kennington and Brixton, or Clapham via Elephant and Castle; via Walworth Road, for Camberwell, Peckham, and New Cross Gate; via New and Old Kent Roads, for New Cross, Deptford, and Greenwich. Omnibuses in connection with these cars run to and from Ludgate Hill every few minutes.
    Borough (St. George's Church), for Kennington and Clapbam; Brixton; New Cross via Old Kent Road; also from Southwark Street to Battersea, Clapham Junction, and Wandsworth.
    Euston Road. (Hampstead Road), for Camden Town, Kentish Town, and, via Junction Road, Highgate Archway; Camden Town and Holloway, via Camden Road.
    Hammersmith Broadway, for Turnham Green, Gunnersbury, and Kew Bridge. 
    HOLBORN (Gray's Inn Road), for Kingsland Road and Stoke Newington, via Clerkenwell Road; also for Dalston Lane and Mare Street, Hackney; and Hampstead, via King's Cross. 
    King's Cross, for Holloway, via Caledonian Road; Camden Town and Malden Road, Hampstead, via St. Pancras Road; "Angel" Islington, via Pentonville Road.
    Moorgate Street, for Hoxton and Highbury; Islington, and, via Liverpool Road, Holloway, and Highgate Archway; Islington, and, via Upper Street, Highbury Holloway. and Finsbury Park; Highbury New Park, via East Road, Southgate Road and Green Lanes; Stoke Newington and Stamford Hill, via Old Street and Kingsland Road; Clapton, via Old Street, Hackney Road, and Mare Street.
    Shepherd's Bush. Cars via Uxbridge Road to Acton; via Goldhawk Road. to Turnham Green, Gunnersbury and Kew Bridge.
    Victoria (near the Station), for Vauxhall Bridge, Kennington, and Camberwell
    Westminster Bridge (Surrey Side), for Kennington and Clapham Common; Kennington and Brixton; via Walworth Road, Camberwell, Peckham, and New Cross Gate; via New and Old Kent Roads, New Cross, Deptford, and Greenwich; Battersea, Clap ham Junction, and Wandsworth, via Albert Embankment. Omnibuses in connection with the cars run between Charing Cross and Westminster Bridge.
