Instituted by Richard Cobden, M.P. and John Bright, M.P., for the purpose of bringing together those gentlemen who are desirous of forwarding the cause of Free Trade, &c. "Each member is understood to be opposed to all Protection and Differential Duties." Entrance fee, 5 guineas; annual subscription, 5 guineas.
