ISTHMIAN CLUB, 105, Piccadilly, W. Established 1882. - Proprietary. For "Gentlemen who have been educated at one of the universities or public schools, and for officers of the army and navy." The election of members is by ballot, and vested in the committee. Subscription: Town members, £10 10s, country members (who must reside not less than fifty miles from London), £7 7s. The club is non-political, and formed for the association of gentlemen interested in rowing, cricket and other sports.
